MFSB Ghana is run by Sharmaine Oddoye, an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Strategist. Sharmaine holds an MSc in Marketing (Distinction) from the University of Leicester, UK as well as a BA in Business, Organizations and Society from Franklin & Marshall College, USA.
Sharmaine’s MSc in Marketing combined with previous work experience has strengthened her knowledge on the subject as she has been able to acquire a deeper understanding of marketing communications. Sharmaine thoroughly understands how and why campaigns work (or not) depending on the industry and customer base, which is extremely useful knowledge in practice.
Sharmaine has also gained extensive insight into marketing in Ghana through previous work experience at Multichoice Ghana and Print Right Limited by working directly with the Marketing Manager and the CEO respectively. Additionally, through over 5 years of blogging and content creation at sharmsonline.com, Sharmaine has developed a strong passion for social media and content marketing, evident in most of her positions held. Sharmaine currently works at a Global Communications Consultancy based in Dubai.
